Homemade Baby Puffs Strawberry Banana Apple Puffs

Recently there was news that the same brand of organic baby foods I purchased contained lead and arsenic so I decided to start making my own baby food. I always wanted to but I thought I didn't have time. now that my child's health is on the line. I made time. I decided that my first experiment would be baby puffs.

1 Tbsp of coconut oil ( I got mine from Brandless)

2 Egg yolks

1 Cup of strawberries

1 Banana

3/4 cup of apple sauce

1 tsp of baking powder

Another puffs recipe called for 1/2 cup of infant rice cereal but we don't do cereal, but if you do, you can add it to your mixture.

Once you measure out all of the ingredients, you toss them into your blender. I use the Nutribullet

the Nutribullet automatically stops when its done. I then poured the contents into a quart size bag,cut a hole on one of the corners and used it as a pastry bag to pour little dots onto the parchment paper. I had extra left over so I decided to attempt making teething cookies.

for the "puffs" I baked them at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 250 degrees for 30 minutes.

I grabbed my muffin pan and sprayed it with coconut oil and poured the remaining contents into the pan. I then placed them into the oven with the "puffs" at 250 degrees for 40 minutes.

everything came out pretty good. they weren't the pretty pink they were when I first poured them, but they still taste great. Baby test satisfactory.
